Compared with the traditional gas or electric water heater, the heat pump water heater heats the water by transferring heat from the air rather than creating it, making it more efficient and eco-friendly.
1. Absorb the heat from the surrounding air, which is a renewable energy source.
2. The evaporator and compressor work together to turn the liquid refrigerant into hot gas.
3. The hot gas inside the condenser coil transfers heat to the coil-wrapped tank of water.
4. The refrigerant reverts back to a liquid after heating the water and continues to the evaporator for the process to start again.
